Head of F&B
Lead food and beverage operations within the venue, overseeing bars and kitchen operation, ensuring excellent service, food safety compliance.
We’re looking for a Head of Food and Beverage to lead the delivery of our food and beverage operations within the venue. You will oversee our bars and kitchen operation, ensuring excellent service, food safety compliance and team development.
From teams mixing mouth-watering cocktails, to preparing epic dishes and delivering great table service, you will set and maintain high operational standards across the department and showcase the GWR brand through every guest interaction.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
· Oversee all front-of-house food and beverage operations, including kitchen teams, bar staff and waiting staff.
· Act as a senior duty manager, leading the venue during live trading and making key operational decisions.
· Ensure teams deliver against standard operating procedures for both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
· Lead supervisors and frontline teams to deliver a high standard of service and guest experience.
· Champion compliance and food hygiene standards, ensuring the operation remains fully compliant.
· Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and oversee product quality.
· Lead internal and external audits across all areas, including environmental health inspections.
· Oversee stock ordering, inventory management and waste control against forecasts.
· Maintain strong visual standards across service areas.
About You
You will bring:
· Senior food and beverage experience in visitor attractions, QSR, hospitality or other high-volume venues.
· Strong knowledge of UK food safety compliance and HACCP.
· Experience leading both back-of-house and front-of-house operations.
· Proven experience in managing stock, cost control and operational performance.
· A Personal Licence, first aid at work and a Level 3 food hygiene qualification.
· Experience in duty management, making decisions in a live operational setting.
· The ability to organise, prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
The Head of Food and Beverage will be highly visible across kitchen and service areas, leading teams on the floor while maintaining strong operational oversight. This role operates within a fast-paced, high-footfall immersive attraction environment and requires flexibility across evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
